Kucheng, a long-history traditional plucking instrument in China. It was invented in around 231 B.C.. Owing to its long history and widely prevalence, the exquisite skillful art of kucheng features not only in its variety and gracefulness, but also its fusing with regional folk music. Based on the compassions of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva as a creative theme, the mellifluent melody of this album presents an image of freshness and brightness. By listening to this music, the listener may achieve enlightenment, a state of freedom from desire and suffering, and lead to the union of human spirit and the universe.
